This program is designed to help integrate mindfulness tools into your life to allow you to fully show up for the transformative adventure of pregnancy, birth, and parenting. We will practice meditation and sensory awareness to grow the ability to keep coming back to the sensations of being alive right now so you are available to show up in the moment, for yourself and your family. Only in the present moment can we be fully alive and aware of the joys and sorrows happening right now. Practicing being present gives us the power to be with what is happening, notice what is being asked of us, and choose how to respond.
Mindfulness tools are so important to prepare for birth as well as supporting the journey through parenting. I can't teach you how to birth or be a parent but I can share powerful tools to help you be present, come what may. Giving birth and becoming a parent are sacred rights of passage that deserve our full attention and reverence. When we see birth as the most intense meditation of our lives, mindfulness tools are the way to prepare for this experience with resilience and grow into the parents we are meant to become.
Support tools include: -Meditation and mindfulness practices -Sensory Awareness -Tools and strategies for deep relaxation -Healthy posture and alignment -Gentle movement and stretching -Creating routines and rituals
The Way it Works: 3 or 6 month commitment where we meet every other week for 60-90 minutes, in person or virtually, with mindfulness tools to practice in between. I will recommend movement videos, articles, books, and resources to help you grow and meet your goals.
